Greg Plitt has blessed the fitness industry in many ways including being able to motivate the hell out of someone. This short but valuable article will explain Greg Plitt's 5 steps to staying motivated, and keep you wanting to go back to the gym again and again.

We've all had those days that we just dread going to the gym. Maybe because we're not seeing results quick enough, or we had a bad day at work, or you just flat out DONT FEEL LIKE IT. We've all been there, but here are Greg's 5 steps to satying motivated.

1. Find a gym partner

"Champions come in pairs of two" - Greg Plitt. Having a gym partner is great in many ways. say for example you dont feel like going to the gym because you've had a long tiring day at work...Well guess what? Your partner is still going to go...Your partner wont tolerate excuses nor will you from them. If you leave your partner hanging your letting them down. You guys are there to feed off each other and push each other to your breaking points.

2. Track your results

Simply get a notebook or take some pictures. Prove to yourself that your making progress and not wasting time. Some days you might feel like whatever your doing isn't working. Thats when you can look back at your notes and have proof your making progress. You will see where you were day one, and see the progress you've made.

3. Set a timed goal that makes everyday count

Say for example you sign up for a bikini contest thats 90 days away. That makes all 90 of those days equally valuable. If you miss one day at the gym you just gave up 1/90th of your oppertunity to win that bikini contest. Setting a timed goal like this gives you a clear motive for all the effort you put in at the gym. It puts somthing on the line that you can prove to yourself is possible.

4. Find new atmospheres

Having a new mental outlook can help spark motivation you never knew you had. Just something as simple as buying new workout clothes, or a new supplement can give you the boost you need to get back in the gym. Somthing small like this can help get you through those plateaus that just seem impossible to over come.

5. Have the right plan of attack

Maybe you feel like you've hit rock bottom...Your not where you want to be in life weather it be fitness, financial, or whatever. This is when you need to take a step back and evaluate yourself. Do the pro's and con's of everything in your life. Like enviornments, people, ect. You will soon see the negativity you need to filter out of your life. You need to be whole and happy with who you are in order to progress in life. Making changes for the good can give you a sense of life again and motivate you to try new things in order to become the individual you've always wanted to be.
